Our client is a privately owned hotel in Lincolnshire that has an enviable reputation for weddings, events, conference and private parties along with an award winning Restaurant and fantastic lounge and bar area.
The hotel has a number of function rooms that are flexible in layout and suit various occasions! The hotel is steeped in history and the chance to work with an experience General Manager.
An opportunity has arisen for a hard working, enthusiastic and dedicated Meetings & Events Sales to work within the sales office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience within M&E sales.
Your key responsibilities will include:
·To ensure the effective handling of all sales enquiries in a timely, professional manner, following the correct procedures, working to the hotels selling strategy and standards..
·To ensure all hotel systems are accurate with correct meeting and events pricing and up to date information.
·Work alongside the Reservations Manager to ensure all reservations systems and external booking channels are accurate with correct pricing and up to date information.
·To maximise all sales and revenue opportunities.
·To conduct show rounds, event planning and final detail.
·To ensure all revenue and enquiries are tracked accurately and timed.
·To support the General Manager in effective business planning, budgeting and forecasting through business analysis and market intelligence.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role with relevant qualifications, as well as:
Good Knowledge of Reslynx would be desirable
Very good organizational skills
Interested in Sales
Strong administration skills
Experience of dealing with guests face to face and via telephone
Experience in reservations or M&E sales preferable
