NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER
£35,000 PER ANNUM
National Account Manager Vacancy - Can be home based
We are looking to recruit a National Account Manager for a hotel group who have a number of properties throughout the UK and operate in both the 3 & 4 star market. Their hotels range in size from 50 - 150 bedrooms.
Manage and develop leisure accounts for the company ultimately increasing accommodation business into the hotels.
Source new opportunities from the leisure market (including FIT; Group: Sporting; Associations; Societies and partnerships.
To manage selected key leisure accounts and meet agreed target levels as set by the Commercial Director and Head of Sales.
To plan and implement an ongoing sales strategy for business growth from the key accounts using account development plans.
Attend communication meetings, team meetings, 1:1’s etc with relevant team members
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
·To attend regular sales meetings.
·To develop strategic sales activities that will grow the business in this area.
·Fully complete all activity on Salesforce and Rezlynx as relevant.
·Ensure that all sales reporting is up to date and accurate.
·Expand a proactive approach to tele-selling.
·Monitor the profitability of key accounts along with the rates team.
·Increase substantially the levels of profitable business booked into the Hotels.
·To produce monthly reports and periodic consolidated reports outlining specific business reviews, percentage increases/decreases and future action requirements.
·To maximise business into the hotels and liaise with General Managers over any needs or individual hotel concerns.
·To attend and be prepared to present action plans at any meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required by the company
·Ensure that the companies’ attendance at exhibitions is successful and profitable in terms of new business generated. Maintain ROI sheets for each event.
·Ensure that Fam Trips or activity that costs money is able to provide ROI. Plan efficiently and track return.
Key Performance Measures:
Achievement of individual sales targets and contribution to overall hotel revenues.
Achievement of the agreed KPI’s.
Completion of account development plans.
Completion of objectives on the individual annual performance review.
