Description: I am currently looking to recruit a General Manager for a busy food led hotel in South Lincolnshire. My client has recently won numerous awards relating to food & accommodation and are an excellent portfolio of hotels with character and charm. The hotel has benefited from a large refurbishment in recent years and carries the 'wow' factor. This hotel offers 25 bedrooms along with a spacious Bar and dining area, an outdoor courtyard and function space that can seat upto 100 and are ideal for weddings, conferences and events. My client is a hotel that is very prominent in the local market and this is a very unique opportunity to join an award winning company. The hotel offers an excellent standard of accommodation along with a unique and stylish food operation which offers the best in seasonal, British cuisine. We are looking for someone who has real drive, passion and enthusiasm and has a genuine love for the industry! The ideal candidate will be the real face of the business, develop relationships with the local community and work hard to improve the overall offering. The ideal candidate will be a current GM or perhaps an experienced Ops Manager looking for a new challenge and have strong experience across all areas of the business. You must have exceptional leadership qualities, have a keen eye for detail, have the ability to drive sales and be standards led and enjoy the challenge of taking this hotel forward. We are seeking a candidate that will: •Develop, implement and build on strategies to maximize all revenue streams coming into the hotel. •To optimize commercial activities by looking a new sales potential both local and national •To monitor and maximize the profitability of all departments. •Take an active role in forecasting, budgeting and reporting for the hotel. •To help build on the excellent reputation and standards that the hotel currently has. •Ensure all hotel standards and procedures are met. •Be Food & Beverage focused as this is the main driving force for the venue. •Have the ability to introduce new ideas and strategies that will help take the business forward. •To embrace and focus on the highest levels of quality in respect to both the hard and soft aspects of the business.
