Description: Our client is a corporate focused hotel with a key focus on Meetings & Events. We are looking to recruit an Conference Sales Manager for this busy property that offers space for upto 800 delegates. Based in Manchester the role will focus primarily on large events and conferences. Great location and brand to work with! We are looking to recruit a real superstar who has a proven track record of delivering results and has a strong M&E Sales background. A chance to work with an established hotel group and hotel. As our Conference Sales Office Manager, your role will include: A passion for creating meeting and events and providing a consistent service to all guests. Manage the conversion of all key enquiries coming through to the meeting & events team Promoting the event spaces through inspiring show rounds Exceeding customer expectations throughout the planning of all meeting & events Communicating all function details to the different departments of the hotel, ensuring successful delivery of all events Responsible for preparing all event documentation Responsible for all event billing both pre and post event Developing relationships with direct clients and key agents to ensure all their business is booked at the hotel To cross sell the group at every opportunity, ensuring where possible all enquiries stay within the group Must have good computer skills and be competent in using Microsoft Office and previous use of Opera would be beneficial. As our Conference Sales Office Manager you will: Have a distinctive blend of confidence and personality to help give our guests an unforgettable experience Make Intuitive decisions in favour of the guest and maintain the highest standards of service Have a naturally warm and generous personality Outstanding planning and organisational skills Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high levels of performance and exceed targets Great opportunity for a committed and hard working individual who is sales focused and is excited to head up a sales office.
