I am currently looking to recruit a passionate, and experienced Sous Chef for an established and reputable hotel in East Yorkshire.
My client is one of the leading hotels in Lincolnshire and have built up and enviable reputation for food and service. The dedicated team of staff work hard to ensure the highest standards.
In terms of the food operation the hotel has 100 well appointed bedrooms, a 80 cover Restaurant which offers a fresh, seasonal menu, a Banqueting suite which is ideal for weddings, private parties and Conferences that can cater for up 250 respectively. The food is seasonal with the menu changing every 3 months and making use of local produce and suppliers.
The emphasis is on quality and the kitchen aims to provide the best dining experience in the area.
The hotel is a popular venue and hosts a number of weddings and other functions and conferences throughout the year.
We are looking for a hard working Sous Chef who has the ability to work on all sections of the kitchen, can deputise in the absence of the Head Chef, be involved with the training and development of other team members and be involved with menu planning, staff rotas and ensure the hotel maintains a high food hygiene rating.
The hotel offers a very high standard of accommodation and great location which appeals to both corporate and leisure guests.
