Description: We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Sales Manager for a global branded hotel in Sheffield city centre. You and the role as a Sales Manager: Your key focus will be to manage and drive all B2B accounts within the local market whilst supporting the Hilton National Account Management team in delivering market share for existing accounts with an emphasis on identifying and converting new opportunities for the hotel. You will possess a sound commercial awareness and be uncompromisingly strategic in your approach to fulfilling the needs of the business in generating the necessary deliverables to hit budget. You will be an achiever and understand your route to success. Your KPI’s will be set on top line revenue production across Rooms and M&E achieved through an account management style that is consultative and collaborative. To ensure you are well positioned to make an immediate impact to the business you will possess a strong knowledge of the Corporate, Government, Business Group, Projects, M&E segments. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. Purpose of the Role as Sales Manager: ·Identify new and manage existing B2B accounts ·Execute an exemplary account management process ·Negotiate Rates and manage the RFP process ·Support the hotel sales plan by delivering key activities, communicating promotions in turning hotel targets into key actions across your client base ·Conduct an agreed number of face to face customer appointments on a weekly basis ·Liaise with Key Account Managers in addressing account contribution to the business, driving revenue targets and agreeing, monitoring and measuring activities moving forward ·Ongoing account reviews to your client base to maximise potential by way of account penetration and establishing client/brand loyalty ·Complete and maintain the Sales Weekly Report, Monthly WWW, RFP and Production trackers ·Develop and deliver your pipeline, ensuring opportunities are quickly acted upon ·Review all relevant business intelligence tools to gain an accurate understanding of current and +13 week performance – participate in the required conference calls to strengthen the hotels market position ·Agree and action marketing activity to support the Hotel Business Plan In return for your skills and experience as a Sales Manager we offer the following benefits: • Competitive salary and bonus scheme • Excellent training and development • Staff Discounts along with Friends and Family rates within the company • 28 Days holiday per annum, inclusive of Bank Holidays, which enhances with service Opportunity to join a progressive equal opportunities company No Accommodation available
