Description: Job title: Operations Manager Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 depending on experience Location: Doncaster As Operations Manager you will support the General Manager in all day to day operations, ensuring the smooth running of the venue, with a very strong focus on food and beverage operations. You will also deputise for the General Manager in their absence. Specific accountabilities will be: • Overall management of the Operational Departments, and managing all HOD's. • Staff recruitment, training and development • Achieving operational budgets and targets as set out in our budget • Develop a sales focused environment, ensuring profit margins are achieved month on month • Implement standards and ensure their delivery across all departments in the hotel • Oversee internal sales and F&B reservations, ensuring all hotel targets and standards are achieved • Oversee all VIP guests and special events are coordinated and planned correctly • Ensure a highly customer focused environment, by building a focused team in all areas of the hotel • Coordinate HOD/ Operational and meetings, driving overall hotel business aims on a weekly basis The ideal candidate will have: • Proven experience in a similar role • Previous experience in a branded hotel is a distinct advantage • You will be either an existing Deputy Manager or very experienced Food and Beverage Manager • You must have a strong food and beverage background • All round knowledge of front office, sales and marketing are also essential • A very high level of personal presentation is essential within this position • Knowledge of budgetary management is required • Excellent customer focus with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with guests & staff • The ability to motivate and inspire the team to exceed customer expectations • We are looking for someone with strong presence and great personality In return we will offer you: • A competitive salary • 22 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays • Contributory pension scheme • Childcare voucher scheme • Free parking • Personal and professional development opportunities • A range of racing & leisure benefits including complimentary tickets, offers and discounts at our racecourses and In the first instance please contact me to confirm your interest and discuss any points on 07766 141154.
