CLUSTER SALES MANAGER
£32,000 PLUS BENEFITS
We are currently working with 2 fantastic hotels, one in Solihull and one in Reading that are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join the team to successfully maximise on all sales opportunities.
The main duties of the Sales Manager include -
Being responsible for securing conference, banqueting and function events business for the resort
Being responsible for working with all departments to assist maximising revenue and sales opportunities
Carrying out a minimum of 12 face-to-face appointments per week and 2 facility visits per month
Be actively out on the road meeting with the venues client base and implementing new client business
To set a sales & marketing plan for the year and ensure you have a thorough understanding of the hotels sales budget for the year
To undertake regular competitor analysis assessing rates, promotions and refurbishments
To ensure all sales reports are completed as required
To continually research the local market to ensure that the company rates are competitive
To liaise with marketing agencies to ensure all promotions are fully understood and right for the business
As Sales Manager you will be the face of the hotel so ideally will –
Have a proven track record of selling conference space, events and bedrooms
Be passionate and enthusiastic about sales
Possess an energetic yet forceful personality
Have great leadership skills and be an achiever
With the role being dual site, the successful candidate will be expected to work between both venues, represent the company at conferences and trade exhibitions and be available to work evenings and weekends when necessary. You must be able to drive and will be paid a salary of £32,000 per annum.
