Description: Cluster Sales Manager - Branded hotels - Two properties - Corporate & MICE I am currently looking to recruit a Cluster Sales Manager for an established and renowned cluster of hotels which are part of an established group who operate 29 hotels across the UK. The hotels jointly has over nearly 150 bedrooms and a number of meeting rooms with a capacity of 200 for meetings & events. This role would suit someone who has quality experience with both pro active sales and account management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to join a reputable hotel group and represent one of the leading hotel brands in the UK. Working within the local markets to promote our hotels to corporate clients and hotel booking agents, you will seek out new business opportunities and develop existing accounts to achieve increased sales for conferences, events and accommodation. Your ultimate aim is to grow revenue and market share for your hotel and the group. To succeed in this role, you will need to be a self-starter who is passionate about achieving results and making a difference. As they say 'people buy people' so your charismatic personality will be just as important as your proven sales experience, ideally gained within the hotel industry, and you need to be organised to plan and prioritise your time to achieve results. Your knowledge of the local market and your ability to seek solutions for your clients and to build long-term relationships will contribute to your success in this role. About the role: ·Deliver the sales strategy across the South West (Bristol & Newbury) ·Drive Corporate and MICE sales into the hotels. ·Develop relationships with key clients and agents. ·Regular face-to-face appointments per week with clients. ·Work closely with the GM's at both properties ·Hold site visits and client entertainment as required. ·Produce sales activity reports as required. What we are looking for: ·Sales experience is essential. ·Current experience within either the Bristol or Newbury/M4 corridor market would be desirable. ·A proven track record of successful business development and account management is essential. ·A self-motivated, driven, results orientated and proactive attitude is required. ·Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills. ·A full and clean driving licence and own car are essential. This is an exciting position that offers scope for someone who is creative and enjoys both the proactive and account management aspects of the role.
