We are currently looking to recruit a Head Chef on behalf of CGC Events who are an established contract catering company based in Yorkshire. They have a long term contract with Stockport County to run the catering facility at Edgeley Park stadium. This is a great opportunity for a current Sous Chef or Head Chef who is interested in working for a reputable and renowned Stadia with a busy C&B operation. The revenue target for Food & Drink (non-match day related) is £600,000 per annum. Edgeley Park, home to Stockport County since 1902, is an excellent venue both on and off the pitch. The number one choice for conferencing, exhibitions and events in the North West, set within the unique surroundings of a fantastic sports club and offering one of the largest banqueting suites in the area. Whatever the event or occasion our professionalism and experience, alongside our excellent location just 5 minutes from the M60 and Stockport mainline railway station, provide us with the growing reputation as one of the leading venues in the area. To complement the wide range of facilities our in-house events team are more than happy to tailor make any event to our clients’ specific requirements and budget, whether it be a private party, a small intimate meeting or a large corporate conference for up to 500 delegates. The venue has a strong reputation for Conferences & Events as well as catering for match day hospitality which includes 22 league matches per season along with any cup games. This role would suit a current Sous Chef or Head Chef who can: • Run the kitchen to an efficient standard in terms of consistent food quality, legislation and compliance, health and safety • Produce food for Conference & Banqueting for upto 400 people including match day hospitality • Be fully conversant with ordering, food costings and planning of menus • Work closely with the management at the venue to ensure the right offering Please contact us to discuss further!
