Description: Our client offers a nice mix of classic, modern and country style hotels throughout the UK, all with M&E space are looking to recruit a hungry Sales Manager who is looking to move into a Regional Account Manager role and be responsible for all corporate, leisure and agency accounts in the north of the UK. Job Summary Generating sales through: high quality account management of key regional accounts (Corporate; Agency and Leisure); and creating new business by developing new opportunities from accounts based in the allocated region. Creating a strong customer focused, performance driven sales culture that drives revenue through a common customer led strategy. Promote a culture of enthusiasm and achievement. Essential Focus: ·Develop and implement the Sales strategy for nominated accounts and targets, working in close liaison with the National Accounts Team Leader, Head of Sales, Director of Sales, Sales colleagues and Operational Teams. ·To work directly with the Director of Sales, National Accounts Team Leader, Regional Sales and on property teams to ensure all key business opportunities are identified and exploited ·Agree sales revenue targets and KPI’s with the Head of Sales and the National Accounts Team Leader ·Participate in top customer relationships and industry organizations as appropriate within the region and drive revenue. ·Ensure all sales activity is captured in Salesforce ·Exceed sales and activity targets and KPI’s ·Ensure all activity complies with the company sales policies and procedures. ·Attend personal and team reviews as relevant. Performance ·Development of sales strategies to drive revenue targets and achieve agreed KPI’s ·Utilise Salesforce and Rezlynx to show clear performance achievement. ·Clear communication of the business objectives. ·Understand the hotel budgets and business requirements by sector. ·Responsible for the creation and implementation of a cohesive, ‘pro-active’ sales plan for all accounts and targets in the region. ·Create and follow Account Development Plans for all top 20% accounts in each sector. ·Responsible for the creation and implementation of a sales and marketing plan on an annual basis, which supports the company’s business plan financial targets by market segment. ·Ensure the overall achievement of the sales plan, ensuring it is continually reviewed to checking its appropriateness, measuring it against actual results achieved and industry peer group measurement tools. ·Review forecast and PACE documents as relevant to understand and identify where trough periods exist and put in place tactical sales activity to drive revenues into these specific months as appropriate. ·To personally carry out at least 8 sales appointments per week, selecting those that have a high potential revenue generation and accompanying sales teams as per their development. N.B. Some style of appointments do carry more than one appointment value in Salesforce. ·In conjunction with the National Accounts Team Leader, develop a hospitality & marketing calendar of events for entertaining for all nominated accounts and targets. ·To pro-actively promote the entire Group at every sales opportunity. ·To manage on behalf of the Company, a number of key client relationships and report back to the National Accounts Team Leader the development and account management planning of these accounts on a periodic basis ·Operate effective and costed fam trips on a regular basis to be agreed as part of the sales and marketing plan. ·Show demonstrable Return on Investment for all activity including, but not limited to, Fam Trips Salary upto £36,000 per annum, car and bonus of upto 20% of salary.
