Head of Sales vacancy – luxury hotel, recent refurbishment, MICE & leisure focus. £40,000 – £45,000 per annum plus benefits.
This is an exciting opportunity to promote awareness of our refurbished Hotel after refurbishment. Initially this a department of one however, the possibility of career growth is strong as the team will grow and develop under the right candidate as you sell this finished product to the agency and corporate market. We will need you to be organised, a great communicator and have proactive Hotel sales experience. This role does not involve managing any staff.
The role will drive sales by focusing on new local and national business as well as increasing the productivity of existing accounts. Developing all market segments with the senior management team, manage the implementation of the annual, rolling Sales and Marketing strategy. The successful candidate must be willing to travel / stay away for multi appointments within a given area and time scale.
Main duties and purpose of the role:
- To deliver significant incremental revenue for total sales including accommodation, conferences and events
- To develop new business opportunities within our existing accounts.
- To identify and secure new accounts to support all business areas.
- Deliver agreed sales target.
- Evaluate business potential and identify high value development accounts.
- Devise and deliver comprehensive strategic account plan for each account.
- Ensure account plan is adhered to and delivered on in timely manner through collaboration with management.
- Support up skilling of operational team in account management techniques.
