Job Description:

Area Revenue Manager, luxury resort hotels, fully remote role. £50,000 – £60,000 per annum. Visits to properties twice yearly. Established and reputable hotel management group.

The opportunity:

As Area Revenue Manager, you will take ownership of maximising revenue, market share and profitability across a portfolio of hotels. You will shape pricing and distribution strategies, lead commercial and ownership meetings, and work closely with hotel and central teams to improve performance. You will also play an important role in successfully integrating new hotels as they join the collection.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape how revenue management develops across a growing luxury hospitality brand. It could be the ideal next step for an established multi-property Revenue Manager or an experienced hotel Revenue Manager ready to take on their first portfolio role. The position is home-based within the UK or Ireland, with travel twice yearly to the hotels.

What you’ll be doing

Revenue strategy and performance

  • Develop and lead revenue strategy across the portfolio, driving RevPAR, RevPAR Index and GOP performance.
  • Analyse transient and group booking pace, demand and rate positioning to make effective pricing decisions.
  • Review performance against prior-year trends and assess unconstrained demand to recommend the optimal business mix.
  • Monitor local events and market conditions, anticipating their impact on demand and pricing.
  • Prepare monthly rolling forecasts and three-month outlooks.
  • Support the annual room revenue budget and business-planning process across the portfolio.
  • Use weekly STR results and wider market intelligence to identify opportunities and inform strategy.

Commercial leadership

  • Lead weekly commercial meetings, reviewing performance, challenging previous decisions and agreeing clear actions.
  • Run regular group pickup meetings with sales teams to ensure blocks, allocations and cut-off dates are managed effectively.
  • Present revenue strategies, performance and market insights to owners and senior stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with hotel teams and embed effective revenue-management practices across the portfolio.
  • Partner with the Golf Account Director to maximise opportunities within the golf travel operator market.
  • Develop productive relationships with Online Travel Agencies and identify opportunities to strengthen performance through these channels.
  • Work alongside Brand Marketing to contribute to digital, email, GDS and wider marketing activity.

Systems and portfolio growth

  • Play a leading role in onboarding new hotels, including the implementation and setup of key revenue systems.
  • Monitor distribution channels to ensure hotel content, availability and pricing remain accurate.
  • Troubleshoot issues across the portfolio’s revenue technology and systems.
  • Work with platforms including Opera PMS, HMS PMS, SynXis CRS, Duetto, ProfitSword, Revinate and UpsellGuru.

What we’re looking for

You will be commercially minded, highly analytical and comfortable balancing the priorities of several hotels. You will be confident working independently while building strong relationships across hotel, sales, marketing and senior leadership teams.

You will bring:

  • Proven hotel revenue-management experience, ideally across a cluster or multi-property portfolio.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into clear commercial actions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • The confidence to influence hotel leaders, owners and senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities without close supervision.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working across multiple hotel and revenue systems.

Experience using HMS, Opera Cloud PMS, Duetto RMS or SynXis CRS would be advantageous, as would a degree in Hotel Management, Business or a related discipline.
