£35,000 – £38,000 plus benefits. 100+ bedrooms, sizeable M&E space (upto 300). Global branded hotel with a focus on corporate, transient, groups, M&E.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Hotel Sales Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and maintaining relationships with clients, implementing effective sales strategies, and promoting the hotel’s services and facilities. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills to achieve sales targets and enhance the hotel’s market position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize hotel revenue and occupancy rates.
  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities, including corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and tour operators.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, rates, and packages in alignment with hotel revenue goals.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure seamless event execution and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and prepare reports for management.
  • Attend networking events, and industry meetings to represent the hotel and generate business opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in hotel sales, hospitality, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation, and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools.
  • Knowledge of market trends and the competitive landscape in the hospitality industry.
  • Flexibility to travel and attend industry events as needed.
